I believe there are quite a lot of people who are unhappy about the ending.
Somehow even though the original Season3 wasnt popular among viewers, I belive the ending was better than this one.
At least in the original S3, YQ did clearly told Zhihua that he will leave with XYZ and not come back. Showing more of his maturity and manliness.
Instead of just leaving quietly after Xinrong gave birth.
Somehow I think they are trying to rush the ending, making it kinda sloppy. Like there is no proper closure for some characters.

Episode 66
OMG! anyone watched yesterday's episode?!
CLIMAX!
YQ is confirmed to marry XinRong 'cus LaoFoYe fell sick and the emperor have no choice but to obey LaoFoYe as well as angered by XYZ, thus announcing the marriage between YQ and Xinrong.
then began the agony between YQ and XYZ.
YQ and XYZ tried all sorts of methods to change the mind of YQ's mother (Yu Fei) but to no avail.
so they plan to escape the palace but while planning so, YQ's mother committed suicide.
[anyway, we all know that she will not die. which is irritating! using death to threaten her own son! :(]
the episode ends where everyone was in shock and XYZ went to ask HanXiang for her special medicine in order to save Yu Fei.
[which I really pity XYZ 'cus after saving Yu Fei's life, YQ will still have to marry XinRong :(]
waiting for tonight's episode.
*P.S. cried a lot for the past 2 episode :( huuuhuuu ~

In a flash, we are on Ep 46! 50 more episodes to go:)
They are returning back to the palace from their trip and soon the truth will be out!
Yongqi, Benjamin and XYZ's relationship have developed through this trip.
Benjamin is feeling depressed as he realized from the trip that he and XYZ are from 2 very different worlds.
Yongqi confessed to XYZ causing her to be confused.
Actually I feel that XYZ likes Benjamin more than she like YQ.
But YQ confessed first and Benjamin keep pushing her to YQ that they end up being together.
Also, XYZ got jealous (even though she doesn't admit it) due to Cailian's incident and it seems to be the thread that brought YQ and XYZ closer (they kissed. Sadly, Benjamin saw it!!)
But I think XYZ got jealous not really because she likes YQ. She cannot accept that YQ confessed to her but being nice to another lady on the other hand and got jealous.
[Maybe because I'm rooting for Benjamin x XYZ so I think that way haha]
Let's talk about the side characters:
So far, we only see Xiao Jian in a couple of scenes.
The one where he saved Qing'er (his opening scene), the one at the inn (fighting with XYZ) and another where he saved Qing'er again (where Ziwei got hurt).
I believe their will be more scenes of Xiao Jian coming up.

On 4th episode.
It's a little different from the original series but I think it's almost as funny as the original.
There are funny scenes and epic lines!
So far, the drama is keeping me interested.
Who supports Benjamin and XYZ? or Yongqi and XYZ?
I personally always pity the underdog but it's almost implausible that Benjamin end up with XYZ 'cus no matter what, they are from 2 different worlds.

I just realised 瓊瑤(Qiong Yao - the novelist and screenwriter) is a distant relative of 金庸(Jin Yong)!
Both great writers of great TV series!
